16) How do I join the affiliate program?
Apply for free through the Payhip affiliate sign-up for our store; the link is on our affiliate page. We review every application and may approve or reject it at our sole discretion. You can promote the guide and earn commissions only after your application has been approved. You must be of legal age in your country, and the program is open to individuals or entities engaged in commercial activity. See Affiliate Program Terms, Section 1.
17) How much commission do I earn?
You earn 30% of the gross sales price of each sale made through your unique affiliate link. The gross sales price is the price the customer actually pays at checkout, after discount codes (taxes contained in the price and payment or platform fees are not deducted from this amount; you are responsible for taxes on your own commission income). Example: the guide costs $39, so you earn $11.70. If the customer uses the $10 discount code and pays $29, you earn $8.70. Commissions are earned only on completed, paid and non-refunded transactions; refunded or canceled orders, chargebacks and fraudulent transactions do not earn a commission. 18) How long does the cookie last, and how are sales tracked?
Sales are tracked with cookies and unique referral links from Payhip’s built-in affiliate feature, not by our own systems. Attribution is generally “last click” within a cookie window of 30 days, as set in our Payhip store. Browser settings, cookie consent choices, ad blockers, switching devices or technical issues can affect tracking, and we are not liable for tracking failures caused by them. 19) When and how do I get paid?
Commissions are calculated monthly from the affiliate sales report generated by Payhip and are paid once your confirmed balance reaches the minimum payout of $50 (USD). Payout normally happens within 30 days after the end of the month in which the commission becomes confirmed; to account for refunds and chargebacks, we may apply a reasonable holding period before commissions count as confirmed. Payhip does not pay out affiliate commissions automatically: we review Payhip’s monthly report and pay confirmed commissions ourselves, in USD via PayPal or bank transfer. You are responsible for taxes and fees on your commission income. See Affiliate Program Terms, Section 5.
20) Do I have to disclose that I’m an affiliate?
Yes. Whenever you promote the guide with your affiliate link or code, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you may earn a commission. The disclosure has to be easy to notice, close to the link or endorsement, and not hidden in footers or behind “more” buttons. Example: “This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.” See Affiliate Program Terms, Section 3.
21) What am I not allowed to do as an affiliate?
Not allowed, among other things: false, misleading or unsubstantiated claims (including income claims); promising “guaranteed results” or “guaranteed refunds”; spam or unsolicited bulk messages; cookie stuffing or other manipulation of tracking; bidding on our brand name in paid search without written permission; publishing unauthorized coupons or discount codes or advertising a different price than shown on our official pages; and sharing, reselling or distributing the guide. Use only the links and materials we provide or approve. Violations can lead to withheld commissions or termination of your participation. See Affiliate Program Terms, Section 2 and Section 7.
